When absorption is limited, the delivery system matters.
Standard berberine has less than 1% oral bioavailability. These five reasons explain how phospholipid encapsulation is designed to reduce digestive breakdown, improve absorption, and slow release into the bloodstream.

It is built around berberine’s absorption problem.
Standard berberine has less than 1% oral bioavailability and is extensively broken down after ingestion. Here, a phospholipid liposome surrounds the ingredient to reduce that loss, improve absorption, and support slower release into circulation.
Four rounds of testing check quality, purity, and potency.
Every product passes through four rounds of pharmaceutical-grade testing in ISO-certified and cGMP-certified labs. The formula is also non-GMO and made without preservatives, artificial colours, flavours, or sweeteners.
The delivery technology stays simple to take.
The liposomal berberine comes in a powdered capsule, so there is nothing to measure or mix. Unlike liposomal gels, liposomal powder capsules are not heat-sensitive.
250 mg per capsule, with research behind the delivery form.
Each bottle contains 90 capsules with 250 mg of LIPO Berberine per capsule. In a rat study, liposomal berberine remained in circulation for 10 hours, compared with 0.42 hours for a standard formulation.
Better delivery serves a clear purpose: metabolic support.
Berberine is a plant-derived bioactive compound used to support metabolic health. This powdered liposomal format is designed for better absorption and slower release into the bloodstream than standard berberine.
Before you compare labels
Compare the delivery system, not just the milligrams.
Ingredient quantity alone does not show how much berberine reaches circulation.
Standard Berberine
- Less than 1% oral bioavailability
- Extensive breakdown after ingestion
- Milligrams do not show how much reaches circulation.
LIPO Berberine
- Phospholipid encapsulation
- Designed to protect berberine through digestion
- Designed for better absorption and slower release.
Choose berberine with an absorption plan.
Standard berberine has less than 1% oral bioavailability. LIPO Berberine addresses that limitation with phospholipid encapsulation designed to reduce digestive breakdown, improve absorption, and release the ingredient more slowly.

My go to option when cycling in and out of Berberine

My go to option when cycling in and out of Berberine, which I do regularly. With so many "standard" versions of this on the market it's nice to use one that I know works. Advanced testing, certified labs and the Liposomal delivery all give me the comfort of knowing that the money I spend on this supplement is well spent and I get all of the benefits it promises.
