Ancient plant wisdom, redesigned for absorption.
Berberine has supported wellness traditions for centuries, but standard forms absorb poorly. Here are five reasons liposomal delivery offers a more considered approach to everyday metabolic health support.

A centuries-old plant compound remains relevant to modern metabolic wellness.
Berberine is a bioactive compound produced in plants and appreciated for its health benefits for centuries. Today, it remains at the forefront of wellness research for its ability to support metabolic health.
Standard berberine has less than 1% oral bioavailability.
Standard formulations are limited by poor absorption and extensive breakdown after ingestion. LIPO Berberine addresses that problem with a delivery system designed to help more of the active compound reach circulation.
A phospholipid “bubble” helps protect berberine through digestion.
Liposomes encapsulate active ingredients in a phospholipid layer. This system is designed to reduce breakdown through the gastrointestinal tract, support absorption into the bloodstream, and release the payload more slowly.
Liposomal delivery extended circulation from 0.42 to 10 hours in rats.
In a rat study comparing formulations, liposomal berberine increased retention time in circulation by 23–46 times. It is a clear preclinical signal for the delivery mechanism, though human outcomes may differ.
Four rounds of testing put quality behind the formulation.
Each product goes through pharmaceutical-grade testing procedures in ISO-certified and cGMP-certified labs. The formula is also non-GMO and free from preservatives, artificial colors, flavors, and sweeteners.
Before you compare berberine
Look beyond the ingredient name.
A thoughtful berberine formula should address the compound's absorption challenge while making its delivery system and quality standards clear.
Modern delivery makes this ancient compound more practical.
LIPO Berberine combines a plant compound appreciated for centuries with a delivery system designed around its biggest limitation: poor oral absorption.
The circulation-retention findings described above came from a study in rats. Preclinical findings do not establish the same outcome in people.

My go to option when cycling in and out of Berberine

My go to option when cycling in and out of Berberine, which I do regularly. With so many "standard" versions of this on the market it's nice to use one that I know works. Advanced testing, certified labs and the Liposomal delivery all give me the comfort of knowing that the money I spend on this supplement is well spent and I get all of the benefits it promises.
