Re: NMN Improves Obesity, Inflammation, Glucose & Lipids in Obese Mice

A study has been conducted that investigated the effects of Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) on obesity, inflammation, glucose, and lipid levels in obese mice. The findings of the study suggest that NMN could have significant implications for the treatment of obesity-related metabolic disorders in...

Re: New Study: 29% Improvement In Alzheimer’s Disease?!

This would be helpful to those who have a family history of Alzheimer's, they would benefit from taking those supplements. Be proactive and start early!   I agree, and I act as if i am very likely going to get it if i don't fight hard to protect my brain. It can come with no family history, it can ...

Re: New Study: 29% Improvement In Alzheimer’s Disease?!

That is a lot of L-Serine. 12 grams. But i think that one has to get radical to combat brain impairment.   I agree here. With Alzheimer's you are fighting a constellation of potential issues, while no one thing seems to actually be the cause. I may try this combo just to see if i can feel a differe...

Re: CoQ10 and Lipitor and other statins

Statins can lower the amount of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) in the body. Some researchers think this contributes to commonly reported statin side effects, like muscle pain. Some studies suggest that CoQ10 supplements may help with muscle-related side effects from statins. But  overall evidence doesn't sup...

Re: Yoga May Reduce Frailty, Improve Endurance in Older Adults

I pay for my mother to get 20 minutes of resistance exercise and stretching 3 times per week... It only costs $60! I would do it if it cost twice that. Absolutely vital to exercise, if you can.

To be honest, I think those of use in our third or fourth year doing this are in a similar place, more or less.

The big question is, does he do LIPO?? lol

Re: Glycine, the Anti-Aging Amino Acid

Maybe it's also good to "also" have the body generate it at a cellular level... like taking NMN to boost NAD+ vs taking NAD+. If I want to boost glutiathone in my kidneys or liver, or wherever, I may be more likely to get it there by triggering a process that boosts it in my cells, rather ...

Re: New Harvard-led study says good sleep hygiene can add years to your life

I agree.

I have long taken a mild benzodiazepene for sleep. I don't like taking drugs, but i dislike bad sleep far more.

I also have had 7-8 quality sleep for decades.

this week i will try to take gradually less of the benzo and try the Restore SL Lipo Gel.
