Re: Skin (and Hair) section
I agree I think that a section for skin and hair is inevitable because it's being discussed more and more.

Re: Resveratrol and Red Grapes
I don’t think taking grape for resveratrol is a good idea. Dr. Sinclair mentioned that grape is one of the food that spikes your blood glucose dramatically, which is bad for metabolic health, one should avoid having too much grape. Actually the poor grape has received a bad reputation over the year...

Re: Alternative methods of taking NMN or NAD+
I suppose any mucus membrane is the best path to the blood stream short of IV. And even that is available.
Anyone here planning on a trio to the IV clinic in the next year?

NMN and your age
i guess the consensus us that the older you are, the more NMN or NAD+ you would need, yes?
I am in my 50s and i think my sweet spot is b/w 500 and 625 mg per day.
If somneone is in their 70s, is it likely they's need closer to a gram?

Re: Beginning of a new journey
I never thought of taking blood pressure.
It's too late to take it before i try these molecules, but i think i might start measuring it once weekly.
I used to be always be 120/80 no matter what.
Good luck with this journey!

The magic 500mg threshold :)
I have experienced the slight boost from nasal NAD + almost from the first try ... but i have had a new and great experience with NMN sublingual i wanted to share. I started with 250 mg daily of Sublingual NMN for the last 7 weeks. I didn't notice much, but i wasn't expecting to, as i see this as be...

Re: Age-related hair loss and vitamin E
With this in mind, it is basically pointless to derma roll as I work outside every day and em exposed to the sun. Wear a cap/hat and sunscreen daily and reapply 2-3 times during the day and you'll preserve your skin in the current condition for many years + you can repair it with topical vitamin A ...

Re: Where to start, is there any protocol to follow?
Hello and welcome! I am sure you will hear from others on this topic, and i am not a doctor or dietitian (we have both on here. You may find this interview with Dr. David sinclair interesting, as he has been researching aging for decades. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noxYge8QERU Many of us are ta...

Re: Voluntary running can counteract aging!
Voluntary exercise normalizes the proteomic landscape in muscle and brain and improves the phenotype of progeroid mice https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/acel.13029#.XXJgjKYwy8k.twitter That phrase immediately made me picture INvoluntary running, which i can't stop laughing about. I am one...
