Re: The Big Picture

Gut health is tricky. have they ever actually proven that the pro-biotics you take actually make it to your intestines and stay there? lately it seems the only way to get a heathly gut biome is via some form of fecal transplant or ingestion (lovely thought, i know). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fec...

Re: NAD+ Nasal Spray vs NMN Sublingual Tablets

I like the NAD+ nasal spray into the sinus because you could argue that there is far more mucus membrane surface area, and over all a more direct passage to your blood stream. When i have used it, i can literally feel it in my blood stream in seconds. Are people getting the same effect taking it sub...

Re: Why sublingual delivery?

Would it not cost less to use sublingual NMN?

Are you not in effect using less product and wasting very little?

Re: How Genome Sequencing and Senolytics Can Help Us Live Healthier, Longer

So... this is somewhat outside the realm of the work that NMN, NAD+ or Resveratrol, since they protect and repair DNA simply by increasing their levels, and or by restoring the levels of youth. Gene editing is a completely different set of theories or theoretical processes that may not be in our imm...

Re: Mayo Clinic Study on HIIT Exercise

I agree - and generally any exercise that gets you into the aerobic phase, where you have an elevated heart rate for at least 15 minutes, is going to release or stimulate hormones, like endorphins as well as neurotransmitters like dopamine, nor-epinephrine, and serotonin. They bathe your blood of ba...

Re: Resveratrol with NMN?

I am taking NMN, NR and Resveratrol. While I admit that my experience is purely anecdotal. I think now in my 3rd month that my metabolism is behaving like it did 10 years ago... i am losing some weight, feeling better and I crave sugar even less than normal. I also fast (spend a day each week with o...

Re: NMN for fertility: "NAD+ repletion rescues female fertility during reproductive ageing"

So are we talking infertility from an early age? Or infertility due to middle age? There doesn't seem to be any risk of taking NMN in pregnancy, since this is a substance that our bodies use every second. But i do not think there has been enough research or trial activity to make a claim. Personally...

Re: What's your NAD? How do you test?

I think it would be very difficult to measure this (NAD levels), and even to know if there are (or not) hourly or daily fluctuations. It could be compared to people who take a certain type of anti-depressant, and SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor) and see if your Serotonin levels increase...
