Re: Study find "High-intensity exercise improves memory and wards off dementia"

Interesting. Anyone can benefit - High intensity is relative to the individual. The HIIT protocol included four sets of high-intensity exercise on a treadmill for four minutes, followed by a recovery period. The MICT protocol included one set of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise for nearly 50 minu...

Re: Stability and temperature, new info from Dr Sinclair

Dr Sinclair wasn't entirely accurate in the podcast with Rhonda Patrick. In his research, they use NMN in water, which they change weekly as it is not stable when wet. I don't know if they test their NMN powder or not. But he has said many times he has a large quantity of the capsules stored in his ...

NAD+ Injection restores cognition in mice.

In a new study published Oct 30 2019, 18 male mice with features of Alzheimer's disease similar to humans were intraperitoneally injected with 30 mg/kg NAD⁺ at 20 weeks of age and once every other day for 4 weeks. NAD⁺ supplementation reversed symptoms of cognitive decline in these mice and restored...

Re: Research comparing capsules, sublingual and injections of NR, NMN, and NAD+

No, not the Chromadex study. I can't say much until they issue a press release sometime in the next week or 2. Phase 1a has started prelim work and tracks about a dozen or so metabolites (NAD+,NMN, cADPR, ADPR,NAM, etc) for 6 hours after dose of capsules, sublingual, injection of NR, NMN, and NAD+. ...

Re: The first NMN study in humans is published

It is quite unfortunate they didn't measure NAD+. They say MeNAM 2py and 4py are end products of NAD+ degradation, so increase in those metabolites indicate increase in NAD+. Dr Brenner said the same thing on the GRAS application for NR: The pharmacokinetic analysis from the first in human clinical ...
