Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
Yep, Newage is absolutely right; restricting inflammation plus eating the right foods and proper supplementation is a huge - yet simple -key to a healthy and productive longevity. For me, eating more fruits, vegetables and foods containing omega-3 fatty acids plus I supplement with NMN and resveratr...

Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
CELLULAR SENESCENCE: As we age, we acquire an increasing number of damaged cells. When those cells get to a certain level of damage they go through an aging process of their own - cellular senescence. In order to clear those damaged cells they release inflammatory factors to the immune system. The o...

Re: Exercising While Restricting Calories Could be Bad for Bone Health
I have always believed that weight gain is often a math issue - the number of calories consumed versus calories burned. There is some research showing that exercising while fasting affects muscle biochemistry and metabolism that's linked to insulin sensitivity and the steady control of blood sugar l...

Re: Resveratrol with NMN?
After some research I settled on aSquared Nutrition's version. These folks produce their resveratrol from polygonum cuspidatum aka Japanese knotweed. Their product is not a resveratrol complex but indeed 100% pure resveratrol. Is any of what they claim true? They are GMP certified which means that t...

Re: Dosing survey
I take (5) spoonfuls (125mg per) of NMN powder each day to achieve 625mg per 24 hour period. I dose NMN every 3 hours between servings so allowing for 8 hours of sleep, I get consistent NMN supplementation through out my day. That said; I use NMN 5 days on and 2 days off per week.

Re: If it’s not broken. Try not to fix it..
This post had me think about my supplementation routine, thanx Newage. One undeniable truth is the need to commit to each specific supplement for a sufficient period of time. Stipulating that the proper research was done prior to taking a supplement; I imagine a full 12 month commitment is required ...

Activating proteins linked to longevity with NMN
It's a fact that as we age, our blood vessels lose some of their capacity to deliver oxygen and nutrients to muscle tissue. An MIT Study found that reactivating longevity-linked proteins called sirtuins, promotes the growth of blood vessels and muscle, boosting the endurance of elderly mice by up to...

Re: Testosterone
I take 5 scoops NMN powder 5 days per week (since early spring) and noticed that my hair is indeed thicker but was sure I was imagining it. I always keep an eye on my free testosterone levels when blood work is done and has been unremarkable. That said; it's been proven that reducing levels of dihyd...

Re: Best Dosage?
I had heard on a podcast that Dr. David Sinclair takes 1gm of NMN and 0.5gm of powdered resveratrol every morning mixed in with his yogurt. For me, I started at 4 scoops of the provided spoon (topped off with a tongue depressor to ensure an even spoonful) and after 60 days moved up to 5 scoops daily...

Re: Alive by Nature GMP?
Hi Jennifer, based on my observation and experience with AliveByNature and their NMN powder; they are the real deal. In retrospect, I should have done complete boards on my blood work prior to beginning my supplementation of NMN but that said, the noticeable and verifiable effects are worth noting. ...
