Re: Article: "Dental: Oral Health is the Key to Longevity"

I'm a dentist, but feel the current research and treatments are directed too much at killing all bacteria instead of optimizing the oral flora (good bacteria).  Chlorinated water, fluoride, artificial sweeteners, medications and mouth rinses all kill bacteria, good and bad. Much of the need for toot...

SLC NMN?

New product?  Exciting!  I am curious to hear the feedback.  My guess is we will feel the effects later than Sublingual but on the lines with Liposomal.  The best approach may be to use a various approach; Sublingual + Liposomal + SLC.  The key will be to monitor quantity and timing.  The article on...

Re: Fisetin Promotes Hair Growth by Augmenting TERT Expression

lol, yeah I tried the Alive by Science LSG Fisetin and it's quiet messy on the scalp.  I'm hoping they come up with a topical product based on this study using Fisetin, Resveratrol and Ethanol

Re: Fisetin Promotes Hair Growth by Augmenting TERT Expression

It sounds like the Fisetin/Resveratrol was mixed with ethanol and applied topically.

"The 0.05 mL of a 0.1% solution of polyphenol in 50% ethanol was applied and made fit in by spatula topically every day, for 35 days, and hair growth was evaluated."

Re: Telomeres; let's make a master list

Astragalus: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6755196/   So in the article you posted they found that Centella asiatica had a 9x more powerful effect on telomerase than astragalus. Interesting how we keep finding beneficial research for natural substances that were used in Eastern Medici...

Re: Improved Sense of Smell

That's awesome to hear! One of the first things I noticed after being on NMN was a change in my sinuses. I normally have a lot of sinus issues, pressure and congestion but my sinuses have been really clear. I do notice sometimes on my off days of not taking NMN that my sinus issues flare up again. ...

Or IV, but that is not easy to get regularly.  I'm sure as research goes on they will specify which antibiotics and gut bacteria (probiotics) are beneficial so we can take a combo pill.

Improved Sense of Smell

I've been on the Dr. Sinclair NMN/Resvertrol/Berberine/Alpha Lipoic Acid/Intermittent fasting regimen for almost 2 years now and just recently am noticing an increased sense of smell.  Not always good smells :) but I can smell things I have not in years.  What's odd is I didn't even realize I had lo...

Which supplements do you take?

Since it seems many of us are interested in taking supplements to extend the quality of life, I am curious to hear what else everyone else is taking. Here is what I take daily for 5 days a week (off cycle on weekends): 250mg NMN 500mg Resveratrol 300mg Alpha Lipoic Acid 500mg  Vitamin C 125mcg Vitam...
