Re: Gene Therapy Mediated Partial Reprogramming Extends Lifespan and Reverses Age-Related Changes in Aged Mice

San Diego biotech startup Rejuvenate Bio claims to have doubled the remaining lifespan, along with improving healthspan in older mice by tweaking known epigenetic reprogramming techniques.  "we observed significant epigenetic markers of age-reversal, suggesting a potential reregulation of gene...

Re: Anyone looked into the role of L-glutamine regarding NAD+ production and potentiation?

I think that the Lipo NMN or better, the Lipo NAD+ complete is a far easier way to get the NAD+ going. I have been taking NMN since before Sublingual was available and the Lipo version is so obviously making the difference I will never so back.

Re: Green Tea Is Associated With Reduced All-Cause Mortality Risk

A 2015 study showed that green tea (up to 5 cups per day) was associated with a reduced all-cause mortality risk. The study included a total of about 165,000 people. Another study in 2019 of more than 313,000 people also showed a statistically significant reduced mortality risk. View the YouTube vi...

So? What's New in your Longevity Quest

New Year, some headlines, covid appears to be fading...

Anyone doing anything dramatically new this year to fight aging?

The newest thing for me is still CaAKG for removing inflammatory proteins and Methylene blue to make me beautiful again.

Re: Is liposomal worth it? or just take the cheaper version with fat?

Right on Boxcost. With NMN and Berberine. The idea of Liposomes is that the suppliment is surviving its trip through the digestive tract and then being matabolised by the liver.  Not only that, but there can be a timed-release effect that is excellent for both. I remember doing the 6 tablets subling...

Re: Is liposomal worth it? or just take the cheaper version with fat?

This is not impressive. They appeared to have shown that unit per unit, a liposomal formulation of a vitamin is going to result in higher bioavailability than a "standard" (non-liposomal) formulation. No surprise; we expect that to be true. What they didn't show was what would have happen...

Re: Mayo Clinc Protocol?

There are a lot of studies for senolytics going on, including Quercitin and Dasantanib. But Fisetin has shown to get rid of senescent cells, especially fat cells.

I have used it. I have benefitted from it. I recommend googling NIH and fisetin to get studies posted on the Institute of health.

Re: Restoring Collagen and Elastin on face

Well the methylene blue seemed to come out of nowhere.. but has also been around for decades, so I am prepared to get some and see what it can do.
