Of all the websites that would have an article spotlighting a "longevity pioneer", I would never have guessed it would be Red Bull (yes, the drink!)!

Check out this super interesting article about a gazillionaire named Michael Greve who's donated heaps of money to longevity research as well as founding his own longevity foundation (called "Forever Healthy Foundation"):

The article mentions an annual conference he organizes, "at which the industry's renowned scientists and opinion leaders meet ("Undoing Aging," Berlin, next date: May 2022). As a global networker, he ensures that longevity researchers in San Francisco, London, Bangkok, and Basel don't dabble in the same topics in an uncoordinated way, but build on each other's findings (a bit like Wings for Life does in spinal cord research)."  

I checked the ticket link, and so far, it appears to be an in-person conference with no options to attend virtually yet:

Well, the more minds, organizations and money - the merrier. I think we are at a point where knowledge in this arena will be exploding. And we do need a business model behind it to make it work and get out there.

I wonder once the dust settles and people are not only living longer, but potentially living as productive citizens longer if the retirement age will get older.

I hear of people having issues getting a new job at 60... when if you looking a them, they have well over a decade to contribute.

Yes, there is indeed some ageism going on out there for older people who are keen to be employed.  This article is Australian-based, but does provide some good general information on how to deal with ageism in the workplace:
