Serum - is it supposed to be a rusty color?

Post by jamierh »

Hi there,

I assume it’s a rusty color because of the ascorbic acid oxidizing, but is this normal and would the serum still be efficacious?

is there an option to have the serum without ascorbic acid for those who apply it separately?

Thanks!

Ive noticed this as well with the facial serum and it is fine and works great. So the body serum does not have vit C added. Maybe try the body serum next time? :D

I often use Niacinamide which has not ascorbic acid. It is a form of vitamin B3 and also a great antioxidant. It can improve uneven skin tone, help with pore size, assist weakened skin barriers, fight dullness and help with age management concerns.
