I came across this article today, "Dietary changes may extend life span by up to 10 years", which talked about a study which "included an on-line calculator to make it easy to estimate the beneficial effect of any food group on a person’s longevity".
It discussed an "optimal diet" and a "feasible diet", where it was acknowledged that making huge wholesale changes to one's diet might be a bit tricky so one could take a baby-steps approach to making changes to one's diet. By making small changes in your diet, you can see some incremental benefits -- using the calculator, you can see these changes on a graph as you make the change, it's pretty neat!
The article is found here: https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articl ... -life-span
The interactive online calculator can be found here: https://priorityapp.shinyapps.io/Food/
The calculator only has four user locations, but the information is still useful to get a gauge of the benefits of changes in one's diet.
