Hi Jessica
Actually, I did do a five day fast ending in late June. Things have been going so well, I forgot to report back in.

I lost about 14 pounds and feel very energised. I have been working around the yard as much as the weather allows (we have had a lot of rain) and also indoors. I am running regularly again and I hope to lose more weight.

After the 1st day, it really wasn't hard to keep my intake low. I avoided coffee as much as possible (1 cup over 5 days). I would have oatmeal, yoghurt and a bit of  cottage cheese.

I drank lots of water.

I took my regular doses of NMN every day and my supplements with my oatmeal.

I honestly feel pretty damn good!

When I did the fast, my caloric intake was around 500 calories maximum. We don't speak of kilocalories in Canada, also doubtful in US, but my caloric intake was very low.

Having tried several times I can't get beyond a 3 day fast, therefore, I now just take the drug Rapamycin for the same effect, in the form of the generic Sirolimus, once a fortnight.
If anyone else is interested I suggest you go to https://www.rapamycin.news and read all about it.
I've found a doctor in UK who will prescribe it and new MD's around the world from Australia to USA appear to be jumping on the bandwagon. (Even without a prescription, one can buy from India - read the relevant subjects in the rapamycin.news forum on how to do this).
Another good read is https://rapamycintherapy.com

Well hey Rob that's fantastic. I would be happy to take it. I am going to follow these links and see what i can figure out.

The good thing about that crazy fast i did was losing my blubber. It was long past its due date.

And i does its best to creep back.

From what I can tell having read all the threads on rapamycin.news, those who need to lose blubber as you put it do so due to appetite being curbed and when its gone it appears to stay off.
Furthermore, a lot of the people there are also taking Acarbose (I've started it as well) as one doesn't have to be strict 24/7 with what one eats and once in a while not worry about the sugar spike as Acarbose stops it happening.
