This was a video released in November last year where Bryan Johnson was a guest on the podcast/show, The Diary of a CEO (DOAC).  I'm still making my way through it as it's nearly 2 hours long (!), but so far it's pretty interesting!

Very interesting learnt a few things, so thanks Bryan!

Back onto the actual Oil, so of course its Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) and it is all about the highest number of polyphenols for the big benefits. So to get the highest it is 1. the specific olive variety, 2. the extraction and storage and, 3. the age from harvest.

On the specific olive varieties for some reason I am drawn to the Greek varieties :) anyhow I found this study https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7923275/ that tested the total phenols across a number of varieties and calls for a New Definition for EVOO.

So best if you can look for "mono variety" EVOO, as in a single type of olive is used. From the study for Greek varieties the highest mean value was Olympia, followed by the varieties Zakynthou, Kalamon and Lianolia Kerkyras. They can be hard to find, so my default which is still pretty good is the Koroneiki variety.
