Consensus are you taking NMN, NAD+ and NR?

Post by canadahealthy »

I ran out of NR, i continue taking NMN, NAD+ nasal and Resveratrol.

Is there consensus among folks here that I should also consider taking NR as well?

Sorry for the late reply.

I think that taking NR as well as NMN is boosting your NAD levels more than with just NMN.

I dont know that there is a consensus among any of the major researchers regarding this topic. Alot of this is about the individual goals you are seeking to achieve. Then you can formulate a plan to achieve those goals and have predictable markers that will show your progress.

NMN and NR are both precursors for NAD+: theoretically they are doing the same thing but with different efficiency. So you don't need to take both at the same time.

But it is interesting to take half NR and half NMN, anyone also doing this?

I am currently doing this.

But the only reason is because I started taking NR a year ago but then switched to NMN and still have both in the house. So I am Combining them.

I agree, you shouldnt have to take both, as NMN breaks down in the liver and turns into NAD+ NR is just another precursor to NAD+.

I concur with Dr.Kris that you do not need to take both.
