Research comparing capsules, sublingual and injections of NR, NMN, and NAD+

Research comparing capsules, sublingual and injections of NR, NMN, and NAD+ by one of the worlds leading researchers is ongoing now, and we hope to see published results on this before the summer of 2020.
Is this Charles Brenner's study on different NAD precursors he is doing at Chromadex or who is conducting this trial? Someone is testing sublingual administration of different B3 intermediaries?

Exciting. Tell us more please ^^

No, not the Chromadex study. I can't say much until they issue a press release sometime in the next week or 2.

Phase 1a has started prelim work and tracks about a dozen or so metabolites (NAD+,NMN, cADPR, ADPR,NAM, etc) for 6 hours after dose of capsules, sublingual, injection of NR, NMN, and NAD+.

Phase 1b will track for longer period of time, as yet undetermined.

Thank you for telling us a bit more. I feel like a kid who knows what he's getting for Christmas and now just has to wait ^^

That study, together with the NADS-trial that is testing l-tryptophan, nicotinic acid and nicotinamide on muscle mitochondrial function and the Brenner study will give a quite broad picture of what different forms of B3 and other NAD precursors can do and what their fate is when supplementing with them.

The NADS-trial will be completed in May 2020.

It would have been good to see nasal spray delivery included.

Very exciting indeed!

I'd just like to say on a side note, thanks ABN for bringing back the NMN without the sweetener! I'm looking forward to getting them after I finish my current SL pots. :D

yup, I would choose the unsweetened NMN as well. less salivation production for me.
