organ scar tissue - general discussion
i am thinking of two organs that suffer scar tissue with grave results: kidneys and liver.
has scar tissue ever been a target of NAD+ studies? How about other Sirtuins?

Here is a couple of articles that I think you will find interesting regarding skin and scars.

By scaring you mean fibrosis? If so, the senolytic drugs are the thing you should look at (I'm not sure whether NAD+ precursor helps but senolytics are proved to be able to treat fibrosis.)

I admit i get them confused. Can you give me a list of proven senolytic drugs?

Fisetin is the most promising one among those commercially available senolytic drugs. You can refer to Joko's post for more informationcanadahealthy wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 2:51 pmI admit i get them confused. Can you give me a list of proven senolytic drugs?

Also, if one can do a 5 day fast... autophagy and stem cell generation are possibilities.AlbertY wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 3:50 pmFisetin is the most promising one among those commercially available senolytic drugs. Excellent recommendation

Hello
I was given the book lifespan for Christmas and I'm fasinanated by all this.
Please bare with me I've never used s forum before.
Can I ask a Q
I hope it makes sense.
Does NMN increase NAD there for boosting ATP?
So there for do I need to just take NMN
Rather than both NMN and NAD?
Thank you

Some of the forum members take only NMN as the precursor to elevating NAD+ levels and there are some of us that take both molecules as they seem to work differently within the body.
You could start with NMN and the NAD+ Nasal Spray which is a good combination.
Remember to start with a lower dose and progressively build from there.
A low daily dosage would be seen as 250 mg NMN
( 2 tablets) and 50mg of NAD+ Nasal Spray.
The Nasal Spray seems to give you the near immediate effect of enhanced clarity..

Welcome to the forum. You are always welcome to ask and answer questions. Many of us take both NMN and NAD+ because they seem to provide different benefits in the short term.Paulapea wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2020 5:16 am Hello
