NAD+NMN TYPE 1 Diabetics

Hello does anyone who is a Type 1 diabetic have any experience with NAD and MNM? Is it safe? are there benefits? are there dangers? :?

My wife is type 2 diabetic and almost "cured" from being on NMN for a year.  Her A1C score has dropped from 11 to 5.5 in that time with no other change in diet or exercise, just strictly from adding about 1 gram of NMN per day to her regimen.
