On a side note for those unsure about yoga, there are different types of yoga, so have a search for classes that appeal to you -- for example, there are some that are more intense while there are those that are less intense and more focused on mindfulness. I have a workmate who is in his 50s who took some beginner yoga classes, and he said they were very good -- relaxing yet still gave him a good workout because if you do the poses correctly, you will use muscles you probably don't know you have, haha! I forgot which type of yoga this was, but a good yoga instructor should be able to let you know what type of yoga they teach.
