Potentially frightening as well, I see the 1% with farms of third world children feeding their rejuvenation treatments. Would need to have the strongest of ethics laws around this technology if it ever comes to fruition.

Too late. If they can harvest organs from live people in China and get away with it, if the technology is available it's all on already in countries like this...

Scary world, some Dr Frankenstein stuff.

It looks like subsequent studies suggest that just filtering out old plasma and replacing it with fluid and albumin works just as well.
The good news is that it doesn't seem young plasma has anything good, it's that old plasma has lots of things that are bad. Just removing the bad stuff works just as well. That's a much more practical intervention. Doing a dialysis-style filtering of the blood on some yet to be determined schedule seems very doable.

So it's all about cutting down on the percentage of inflammatory bodies are floating around our blood stream. So in that respect, our own bodies generating brand new blood may be more effective than 'harvesting' the blood of the young.rhett wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 6:52 pm It looks like subsequent studies suggest that just filtering out old plasma and replacing it with fluid and albumin works just as well.

Unfortunately, you can't put this in a bottle. But I can see this offered at clinics are possibly patented and eventually prescribed for people in some way and recommended for elderly patients suffering from too much inflammation.

I could imagine heading in for a plasma cleaning twice a year just like a dental cleaning, possibly in combination with at home pills to keep levels of the bad stuff relatively low. Just a normal health maintenance to keep things running smoothly.
