Biological Clockwork:Daylight savings time

Are these bi-annual adjustments to our internal clocks actually having a larger effect on our bodies than we realize? Over the course of our lives, daylight savings time greatly reduces the amount of bright morning light we experience. While this may sound trivial, morning light is essential for the synchronization of our biological clock and not getting enough is associated with increased risk of heart attack and ischemic stroke. Interesting stuff, FitandHealthyinAZ! I figured that it did affect circadian rhythms, but didn't realize to that extent, yikes! I looked up another article that talks about it, and also gives some tips on how to adjust to it:

Yes I do agree that daylight savings alters the amount of light. However, I think that the amount of blue light that many of experience every day may be more harmful. The amount of electronic light that we are exposed to each day alters many physiological responses.
