It's an untested hypothesis. My thought is that direct application of NMN will help restore the cellular processes that are damaged with aging. The NMN absorbed through the skin may be equivalent to that absorbed as a pill, or it could have a stronger affect applying it directly.
I took some before and after photos and so far no change after 2 weeks.

Dr. David, is there a better way other than photos to compare effectiveness for hair loss treatments?

Yes you could use punch biopsy and then have a pathologist take a look at the cellular structure. This would be an expensive way to go.

I’m experimenting with combinations of NMN and NAD+ in a homemade topical solution and applying it to thinning areas of the scalp along with the Renue Lotion.
Time will tell....

Our new face serum works well for applying to scalp.

It doesn't have any shea butter that we use in the lotion, so absorbs completely.

I have been trying it but don't have much hair loss, so not a good test subject.  If you'd like to try, drop an email to [email protected] with subject of "test serum for hair loss" and we'll send you a free bottle to try when it is available in a few weeks.

Also note, going forward, all our Renue products will have NAD+, NMN, and NR in place of the NAD+.  The new face cream and serum will have this change.  It will be incorporated in the next batch of the lotion.

We are both “ on the same page”
I have been mixing NMN and NAD+ in a spray bottle with Alkaline Water and religiously spraying onto areas of hair thinning for a couple of weeks now. I also apply Renue Lotion to the same areas twice daily..

Why bother with the NMN and NR in the Renue when the body has to convert that into NAD+ anyway? When everyone who has commented so far appears to be seeing big benefits, why change a winning formulae to something that to my mind sounds inferior (especially if there is less NAD+ to make room for the NMN/NR)?

Well this is a generous offer, thank you!

I guess I must take the picture of the before.

It's funny really, it is not a very big bald spot. But dammit is is visible, and unlike virtually everywhere else in my body - it hasn't changed.

I know we are getting close to something. Obviously it needs to reset the clock on the follicle while also resetting the levels of nearby DHT.

Looking forward to being a guinea pig!
