Hair health is a very hot topic today, as most people face the problem of hair loss. The reasons for hair loss can be different, such as poor diet, bad habits, etc.

I wonder what methylene blue would do with hair follicles.

My husband won't use Minoxydil as it seems too extreme for him. I don't  it that way, but maybe will will try a less 'extreme' face serum, lol.

There is a proven method of hair regrowth and that is PRP - Platlet rich plasma replacement therapy. Depending on where you live it can be expensive though, $2-3k USD minimum.

It will back up your hair loss about 5 years. Most data still suggests that if folicles are dead longer than that, they are pretty much dead for good. So like, if areas on your scalp have that true shiny smooth texture, that's a sign your hops have dimmed.

PRP involves taking a few blood vials of your own blood, placing them in a centrifuge spinning for 15min, separating out the gold plasma, then injecting it into your scalp. It's your own plasma....zero side effects.

My hair dresser turned me on to it as some of her clients were using it and were impressed by the results. I was getting a widows peak. I found someone doing PRP near me for $250 an injection.

Generally it is 8 injections total. One injection every 8 weeks. Then probably 2-3 annually for the rest of your life.

They will stab you with a needle about 20-50 times in your scalp...so yes it hurts. However some techs/docs do well with pinching your scalp skin and injecting there....no pain no gain.

They say results 6 months after the FINAL injection are common. For me I didn't notice anything until after the 5th injection...then all these baby curly hairs started to fill in my widows peak. My hair line returned. It was pretty amazing. Over 5 years on and the growth is still there. My PRP person now only charges me $100 per injection because she's awesome.

PRP is supposed to be done by a doctor. They are of course the most expensive. Keep your ear to the ground, and RN/LPN can do this easily. There really is nothing to it. You can even buy the centrifuge online for less than $400. Everyone knows a nurse, just ask them to do it.

NCAA and Pro sports are not using PRP to increase surgery recovery and injury recovery. Google "PRP knees" or anything and you will see it has been around for a while.

Our plasma causes a stem cell reaction at injection site, that's how it works.

I have heard of this for other purposes. I hadn't realized it was so helpful. If it reverses hairloss without blocking DHT, then it must be damn good for you, because then it is a true major rejuvinator. i want to look into thyis further for a few things. Thank you for putting a bug in my ear.

Not so much these days.  You can use finasteride and minoxidil and most will get at least some results.
