Re: Which supplements do you take?
Hi !
I have noticed that some of you are taking NMN 5 days a week and cycling it for 2 days a week.
Is there any reason for doing that ? Is there any research that calls for a weekly cycling of NMN ?
Thanks for your reply

Re: Which supplements do you take?
So the longest stack currently is drkris69 but interesting to see you (or anyone else so far) don't take Spermidine. Any particular reason why?
I take the following:-
Once weekly 75mg Aspirin and 30mg CoQ10
3x per week when I do weight bearing exercise 900mg Quercetin
6 days per week:-
90mcg Vit K2
10 or 20mcg Vit D3 (depending on how much sun I'm likely to see on my skin that day)
15mg Zinc
250mg Spermidine
500 - 750mg NMN (I don't accurately measure it out)
500 - 750mg Resveratrol (mixed with high fat greek yoghurt and olive oil with turmeric thrown in for good measure - I also put plenty of turmeric on tomatoes under the grill in avocado oil on a daily basis for good measure - hoping I get enough curcumin without the supplement!).

Re: Which supplements do you take?
Hi Robsmith, You might want to add fresh pepper which contains peperine to you turmeric mix, (if not all ready) this statement says it all...RobSmith wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 3:02 am So the longest stack currently is drkris69 but interesting to see you (or anyone else so far) don't take Spermidine. "piperine is the major active component of black pepper and, when combined in a complex with curcumin, has been shown to increase bioavailability by 2000%." See: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5664031/
I personally use fresh locally grown turmeric which I peel cut up and freeze (along with ginger) with then with black peppercorns (and good list of other amazing foods) to take 5-6 days a week as a smoothie.
Re: Which supplements do you take?
Indeed I do - I just forgot to mention that there is also a liberal sprinkling of black pepper on top, but thanks for the link anyway - it's always good to see these things.Boxcost wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 5:37 amHi Robsmith, You might want to add fresh pepper which contains peperine to you turmeric mix, (if not all ready) this statement says it all...RobSmith wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 3:02 am So the longest stack currently is drkris69 but interesting to see you (or anyone else so far) don't take Spermidine. Re: Which supplements do you take?
My list is reasonably standard.
For berberine, one day i may try to swap out metformin,
NMN 500mg
Resveratrol 400mg
Curcumin 600mg
Green Tea extract
Berberine 1200
Melatonin 1.5 mg
l-Theanine 325 mg
Vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin
recent addition: Vitamin K2 /d3
NewLifeScience I looked up Astralagus and it seems to benefit our telomeres as much as Melatonin can so I may be ordering it.

As I have been a member of this forum for well over a year, I can sort of speak to that. Many of us are doing intermittent fasting or mimicking fasting in addition to taking NMN and we also want our bodies not to get 'used to' a certain level. It keeps things novel.
Also, it is remotely possible to burnout your methyl groups (B12 and folate) and it may be good to give your body a break.
Another good reason - to stretch out our supplies a bit further. Most of us put NMN at the top of our list, and we want to have plenty of it around. Missing 2 days out of seven increases your supply by almost 29%.
That is my reasoning anyway, I will let others weigh in for their reasons.
