Check out this interesting "listicle" about food rules from Blue Zone centenarians:

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/10/90-to-1 ... onger.html

Nothing too new, but it's a good reminder of the importance of good nutrition (and how good nutrition is actually quite simple)!

Some of the themes remind me of Michael Pollans' rules, check those out here:  https://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/news ... r-eating#1

Just found this article that touches upon this theme - check out "4 Items You Should Always Have in Your Pantry, According to the Longest Living People in the World" https://www.wellandgood.com/blue-zones-pantry-items/
- cheat sheet:  beans, greens, grains, nuts

That seems a bit high.

But then if 10% of what we eat was meat and fish, perhaps not that high after all.

What about milk products? Beverages? Eggs?

I think more like 80 / 20 would work.
