When I exercise it definitely makes me not hungry

Yes, some say that the endorphins released when exercising inhibit food cravings.
Keep in mind that the fuel expended with exercise needs to be replaced at a level but with restricted kilojoule intake you will lose weight and brown (belly) fat.

exercise feeds our bodies, right to the tiniest capillaries, by raising our heart rate, so it is like a form of feeding that can feel satisfying to the body.

secondly, exercise reduces stress and releases hormones that raise feelings of wellbeing, which can also make ones body feel satisfied. 

So I can see that yes, exercise can curb hunger.

I definitely feel less hungry and eat less on the days I work out.

Only when actually exercising, about 20-30min after is a different story :)

But I do I mostly exercise whilst fasting, struggle to do it with any food in my stomach.

Its funny how when you do a consistent workout routine that it keeps everything in check,..ie. diet, sleep and mood. :D

Off topic a bit, but when i run of the treadmill, i feel if it is on an empty stomach the results are much better.

Most elite and age group swimmers train on empty stomachs at 5am for their first session of the day..
