Senolytics ⇒ Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
Hmm.
So they are testing this for elderly frailty?
I wonder if it would be safe for my mother (83) to take the booster that has fisetin...
may be twice per week?

Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
Curious if anyone has thoughts about nmn use while doing the mayo clinic fisetin protocol. Any risk of nmn propping up the senescent cells fisetin is supposed to clear?
Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
I think Fisetin and NMN are on the same team
ABN sells a NAD+ booster with AMPK activators which includes fisetin:

Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
So... Fisetin is a powerful. Senolytic?
Let's say someone has kidney failure or liver cirrhosis
Does a Senolytic potential assist with tissue generation?

Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
It could indirectly by clearing a path, so to speak. Look into apocynin as well. This is good to take after a senolytic like Fisetin to assist in generation of new stem cells, as well as NMN.
Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
I found a little about apocynin on Wiki, where does one acquire something like this?

I bought mine on eBay.

Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
This is good thinking and it could be why Fisetin is administered in large doses for 2 days (triggering autophagy) and quite possibly NMN and NAD+ use would be suspended.
Re: Mayo Clinic Human Trial using Fisetin
Im gonna order some Fisetin and do the two day protocol. Jocko during those two days do you eat normally or do you have to fast? Im really interested in doing this.

I think that test is going on, but i am not sure it is confirmed. I have read it has very little side effects, but the elderly are more vulnerable.
