I think they're heavily discounting it because the test is unreliable. I questioned the results of my first test, so they sent another kit to retest. Results of the second test were fully 12 bioyears different from the first test. There were only 2 months difference between the two tests with no changes to lifestyle or diet. Their solution? They sent two more test kits, which I didn't send back. To me, they already proved their method was totally unreliable.rhett wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 10:26 pm Ordered a test kit from mydnage today (the blood test version). I'll let you all know how it goes!
I had been thinking about it, but the thing that pushed me over the edge was that I found a coupon code on this site: https://www.wethrift.com/mydnage that worked and took 20% off the total.
Although there may be something to methylation testing, the way it's implemented with this particular company is sketchy at best. They had no good explanation for the results. Not sure if there's another methylation test that would be better but I'm waiting a few years until the tests are more accepted, mainstream, and reliable.
