but isn't Dr. Mercola kind of a quack?

As far as i know, he is an anti-vaxer (BIG RED FLAG) and also has been penalized for false claims about his tanning beds... just to name a couple things.

Yes. Dr Mercola is a well-known quack with a neverending record of unsubstantiated pseudoscientific claims about everything from electromagnetic fields to vaccination.

He is in the "bio-quackers" camp along with Ben Greenfield, Jack Krause and Dave Asprey. But here Mercola´s role is to be mainly an interviewer and he does a good job at that.

I had to laugh when i read anti-vaxer, but this guy isn't just a quack, he's downright dangerous.

Man I dont consider myself a follower of quaks or any pseudoscience but I do follow and listen to what Ben Greenfield has to say. Always thought he was level headed... He does do some crazy stuff but he admits a lot of it is crazy. after all, a good potion of his job is to be a guinea pig for controversial health topics to see if it works or not.
