Sublingual NR

If the bioavailability of NMN and NR is about the same when taken orally why is sublingual NR not promoted? Or any other delivery method for that matter.
There have been no published studies on sublingual, transdermal or any other forms of administration of NR or NMN. Only oral (humans and animals) and injected into the body cavity (animals).
