Restore PM -- release time?

I've been taking NAD Complete for a few months now, and I'm interested in trying liposomal delivery for other supplements I've been buying from other brands.
I'm particularly interested in the Restore PM sleep formula. The melatonin I have used in the past is extended-release, and I'm worried the Restore PM formula will not last long enough to keep me asleep through the night since my main issue is waking up in the middle of the night. Can you tell me anything about how liposomal delivery affects the effectiveness timeframe?
I'm also concerned that 3.5mg is a lot of melatonin, significantly if liposomal delivery increases bioavailability. Any thoughts on that? I've generally been taking 1-2mg per night.
