Independent 28-Day In-Home Use Test

Renue Blue Facial Serum was evaluated in a 28-day In-Home Use Test (IHUT) conducted by The Benchmarking Company (TBC), a leading consumer research firm specialising in beauty and personal care. The study was designed to assess participant-perceived skin improvements following twice-daily use, evaluated against ASTM Standard E1958-21 for sensory claim substantiation.

55 participants were recruited and 51 completed all requirements. Panelists used 1–2 pumps of serum on a cleansed face and neck, morning and evening, for the full 28-day period. Self-assessment surveys were conducted at Day 14 and Day 28 using standardised agree/disagree scales and 1–10 satisfaction scoring.

Methodology

Study Design

Panel Size

55 participants recruited; 51 completed all study requirements (93% completion rate). Panelists were screened for appropriate skin types and age ranges before enrollment.

Product Usage Protocol

1–2 pumps of Renue Blue Facial Serum applied to cleansed face and neck, morning and evening for 28 consecutive days. No other new skincare products were to be introduced during the study period.

Assessments

Online self-assessment surveys at Day 14 and Day 28. Panelists rated a full battery of skin perception claims on standardised agree/disagree scales, plus 1–10 effectiveness and happiness scores and 1–5 intent scales.
